Most deeply affected are the wives of alcoholics. The present descriptive study aimed to investigate the problems faced and coping strategies used by the wives of alcoholics. A total of 30 wives of alcoholic clients seeking treatment in De-addiction Centre were interviewed for the same.

    Alcoholism does not affect the individual alone. If the alcoholic is married or cohabiting, it will negatively affect the spouse or partner. Find out.
