Slam Poetry & Spoken Word Poems
Digital Poet. This is a collection of the work that hasn't been lost. Slam Poems With Music. It's important to know that I've spent a good portion of my life fighting heroin and opiate addiction, so I have written a lot of poetry about shooting heroin, going through withdrawal, life on the streets, etc. Most of my poetry is not written to flow like a sonnet, ballad or nursery rhyme; it's not created to be read in chorus with a heartbeat. This is slam poetry - its all about the art of the spoken word. Emphasis, emotion, inflection and pace are dictated by content, so reading a poem more than once in different states of mind could bring out altered meanings or new and different understandings.
Tell me not, in mournful numbers, Life is but an empty dream! For the soul is dead that slumbers, And things are not what they seem. Life is real! Life is earnest! And the grave is not its goal; Dust thou art, to dust returnest, Was not spoken of the soul. Not enjoyment, and not sorrow, Is our destined end or way; But to act, that each to-morrow Find us farther than to-day.
Talk to her. Maybe on youtube? Woke poetry. Not sure where to start but here it is…. I feel alone and hopeless. Why do people always want something from me or take advantage of me. Why is it that no matter how many steps forward I take theres always steps back that negate any positive forthcoming.

Prince Ea Spoken Word - life motivations
Spoken word is a form of poetry that is performance-based; it has caught traction throughout the world as a tool to communicate and express our deepest thoughts and emotions- those that profoundly bond us to others. The words are brought to life using improvisation, drama, rhymes, story-telling, hip-hop, blues, and folk. Often they express social problems. Other times, they relay stories that inspire and motivate us. Dreams chose them. That befits you and grips you?
This is… Me reaching out to gently touch you. In their voice my voice stuttering, other voices merging to shouts uttering muttering confusion jamming my words leaving world noise crashing into me It shuts me down. Everyone pretends to be something else People trying to be: loudest, sweetest, prettiest, smartest est est est, always est pretending to be est. To find my voice I will change the rules shift the world with gentle words lift the world so you might hear what I have to say. I have been looking for my voice Because without it I am alone.
Life is full of challenges. Economic difficulties, serious illnesses, family problems, and political unrest plague people on a daily basis. How a person faces each challenge that comes their way however, says much about their character, who they are on the inside. Some people draw strength and inspiration from the experiences of others. Many famous poets from both the past and present have helped and inspired people to face and overcome life's many challenges through the words of their poems. Such poems help people to see they are not alone in their struggles and that it is possible to overcome their problems. Tick tock
