Principles of cognitive neuroscience 2nd edition ebook
Principles of Cognitive Neuroscience by Dale PurvesAs someone who hasnt taken a biology course since Freshman undergrad (Im a humanities kid), this textbook kept me afloat this summer semester. While I didnt enjoy the textbook (hence the 3.25 stars), I enjoyed building an anatomical lexicon to describe neural activity. #WordNerd
Ill be curious to monitor this field as measurement tools improve. Will future neuroscientists be able to apprehend decision making based off of anatomical architecture and synapse patterns? Will advertisements become all the smarter to fully manipulate subconscious processes and re-route brain architecture? Will we discover a cortical core of consciousness that challenges our notions of human existence? IWho knows?!

Amber Baysinger, Yale Journal of Biology and Medicine This textbook is an ideal introductory text for advanced undergraduates or graduate students studying cognitive neuroscience. I applaud the authors for creating a book that is not only educational but also enjoyable to read - something that cannot be said about most textbooks. Any instructor of an introductory cognitive neuroscience course, advanced and inquisitive undergraduate, or beginning researcher will likely find this text to be a valuable resource. Scott A.
