Only god can judge me bible verse
Judge Quotes (291 quotes)
King James Bible
The idea is that no one should have the right to make a judgment on anyone else. I have seen this statement tattooed on people and stuck to car bumpers. I have heard it spoken by Hip Hop superstars in interviews. Whenever I hear this spoken, the person usually refers to a particular Bible verse found in Matthew 7. When this verse is read, to the exclusion of the rest of scripture, it seems to have proved the point. It seems to say that no one has the right to make any judgments on anyone else. It seems to say that if someone has the audacity to make a judgement, then they will also be judge.

What does only God can judge me mean? We all have heard this statement at some point in our lives, but is this statement biblical? The plain answer is no. This is actually a Tupac Shakur song. When people say this, they are saying you are a human and you have no right to judge me. I will admit there are indeed Christians who have critical hearts and literally search for something wrong with you so they can judge and no believer should act like this. But the truth is the Bible says not to judge hypocritically and off of appearance.
Most of the people who say that it is wrong to judge others are not unbelievers. They are people who profess to be Christians. These days people would rather allow people to go to hell than expose evil. Judging is not sinful, but a judgmental critical heart is, which I will explain below. How can you tell good from bad fruit without judging? How can you tell good friends from bad friends without judging?
