Néanmoins, ses ennuis ne font que commencer : déjà forcé à se remettre en question, Hachiman apprend qu’il doit coopérer avec Yukino, une élève, aussi brillante que sarcastique et antipathique, qui ne lui laissera aucun répit. La rencontre de ces deux lycéens aux caractères si différents risque de créer des étincelles.
